The World Domination Summit starts today!

My town is practically bubbling with all the entrepreneurial energy that’s flown into town over the past 24 hours.  If you’re in Portland, I’d love to meet you!

This Sunday night I’m holding a meetup with my buddies Jenny Shih and Kendrick Shope from 6:30 – 8.  We had so many people rsvp that we had to bump up to a bigger space– please note, we will be meeting at The Nines Hotel, NOT Red Star Tavern!

We’ll also be opening the doors to our new class, called   Get Writing: A Virtual Yurt for Rapscallion Wordslingers!

This summer, we’ll be helping a brave cohort of rapscallions create the kind of blog posts, website copy, and stand-alone pieces that will speak to their ideal people, customers, and clients.  I am sooooo excited about this.

We’ll be showing them how to write love letters to their tribe.

How to send their bat signal beaming out into the sky so that the people they want to call can find them.

How to tell the truth in a way that is so funny, true, and uniquely THEM that the people who turn up are total kindred spirits.

I’ve been thinking about teaching a writing class for a few years now, and this is going to be epic.  Learning how to write in my own voice is THE thing that has helped me to meet some of my favorite people in the world.  (Like you!)

In the meantime, I have three days of jam-packed action ahead of me.

I predict I’ll be 300% smarter by Monday morning, that’s just how good the World Domination Summit was last year.

So this morning I have to make some Very Important Business Decisions:

Hmmmm.  Maybe I’ll just wear ALL of them.
