Carine Williams lives in Brooklyn, New York, by way of Miami, Florida. After attending Yale Law School and clerking for a federal district court judge, Carine focused her practice as an attorney on defending people and corporations facing government investigation or prosecution. Her pro bono work has included civil right litigation and appellate habeas work for wrongfully convicted prisoners. Carine has served as an adjunct lecturer at Columbia Law School, where she taught seminar courses on constitutional rights enforcement. Prior to becoming an attorney, Carine taught English at an alternative public high school for student who had been kicked out of mainstream schools, and she is a graduate of Harvard College.
